Driver's First Aid Course 7 h
The Driver's First Aid Course is designed as a life-saving first aid course for truck and bus drivers and is suitable for anyone working in traffic or interested in the topics of the course. The course counts as one approved continuation training day by Traficom.
In the Driver's First Aid Course, you will gain good readiness to act correctly in traffic accidents, taking into account your own and others' safety, in life-threatening situations, wound situations, and various attacks of illnesses.
One can participate in the first aid course without prior first aid training, and the course also serves as a refresher.
The course provides an approved education day by the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom. The registration fee is 18.50 euros per person VAT 0%. The directive certificate is valid for five (5) years.
Course Content
- Traffic accident
- Emergency transfer of a collapsed person
- Examination of an unconscious person and securing of breathing
- Preventing heat loss while waiting for the ambulance
- Resuscitation (CPR) and use of defibrillator/AED during resuscitation
- Stopping bleeding with a pressure bandage
- Identification and immediate first aid for symptoms of circulatory shock caused by bleeding or electric shock
- Choking
- Identification of symptoms of anaphylactic shock and administration of an adrenaline auto-injector
- Different types of wounds and first aid measures
- Attacks of illness: sudden chest pain, epileptic attack, low blood sugar, stroke, and sudden shortness of breath.
Course Formats
On-site courses can be held in the company's own premises or at Camilla Safety's premises. On-site courses often include a lot of practical exercises.
A webinar is a course that takes place over the internet, and participants attend from their own computer or mobile device.

Do you need a course for a larger group or an online course for several people?
On-site course
When conducted as an on-site course, it's good to allocate 6 hours and 45 minutes (7 x 45 minutes) including breaks for this course, from 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM including breaks.
For the on-site course, we recommend groups of 1-10 people. We conduct the emergency first aid course as an interactive session, and with this group size, each participant receives personal guidance during exercises, has enough time to practice resuscitation thoroughly and realistically with our resuscitation simulator, and everyone also has the opportunity to perform simulations using our VR glasses. The on-site course also includes game-like elements, and our trainers approach teaching with enthusiasm and positivity.
Webinar
The professional driver's first aid course can also be conducted as a live webinar, which everyone can participate in from home or the workplace. Our webinar is designed to be engaging, including elements such as gamified sections, quality videos, and exercises.
