The Basic First Aid Course (First Aid 1) is a comprehensive and interesting course. This is also the course that the Regional Administrative Board (Finnish AVI = Aluehallintovirasto) recommends for most workplaces.
The course includes emergency first aid, that is, life-saving first aid (emergency call, unconsciousness, lifelessness, bleeding, and circulatory shock) as well as other more everyday first aid situations. This includes seizures (medical attacks), various wounds, burns, joint injuries, fractures, intoxication, and traffic accident.
On-site courses can be held in the company's own premises or at Camilla Safety's premises. On-site courses often include a lot of practical exercises.
A webinar is a course that takes place over the internet, and participants attend from their own computer or mobile device.
An online course is completed independently online and can be completed regardless of time and place. The course is pedagogically designed and includes a variety of practises.
A hybrid course consists of an online or remote course and an on-site course.

Do you need a course for a larger group or an online course for several people?
When the Basic First Aid course is conducted as an on-site course, two full days are reserved for the course: 7 hours and 30 minutes per day (2 x 8 x 45 min) including breaks, for example from 8:30 am to 4 pm.
For the on-site course, we recommend a group size of 1-10 participants. Our courses are conducted as practical sessions, and with this group size, each participant receives personal guidance in the exercises, there is adequate time to practice resuscitation (CPR) in a realistic manner with our CRP simulator, and everyone also gets the opportunity to carry out a simulation with our VR glasses. The on-site course also includes game-based elements, and our trainers' teaching methods are inspiring and positive.
As an online course, the course has no minimum or maximum group size. It can be completed entirely at your own pace, either in one go or in smaller sections. The online course consists of a diverse range of our educators' instructional videos with a personal approach, videos about different situations, multiple-choice questions, informative text, exercises, and tips.
For 5 attendees or more place notice the reduced price.
We highly recommend arranging the Basic First Aid course as a hybrid course. The hybrid course combines the best parts of an online course and an on-site course.
This combination course can be conducted either by starting with a 4 h on-site session, after which everyone continues the course flexibly according to their own schedule with our online course.
Alternatively, the on-site part can be 8 h, that is, a full day. Our experience shows that in such cases, it's best to first open the web course for tje participants, so that we can practice in the best way during the on-site day.
